The Philippines’ ambitious infrastructure projects have caught the attention of no less than the Asian Development Bank as it expressed interest again to lend the Philippine government more funding for the “Golden Age of Infrastructure” direction. Asian Development Bank President Takehiko Nakao is proposing a pipeline of projects valued at US$4.2 billion from 2018 to 2020. Specifically, the target areas for infrastructure spending are energy, transport, education, social protection and rural development. ADB made a special announcement recently, and that the bank is preparing a Technical Assistance Loan of $100 million for the government. Bulacan is a province in the Philippines, located in the Central Luzon Region (Region III) in the island of Luzon, 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Manila (the nation's capital), and part of the Metro Luzon Urban Beltway Super Region. Bulacan lies in the southern portion of the fertile plains of Central Luzon. The area is drained by the Angat and Pampanga rivers. The Sierra Madre mountain range forms the highlands of Bulacan in the east and is a protected area known as the Angat Watershed Forest Reserve. Angat Lake, which was formed by the Angat Dam is located in that area.
